Bhutan Baccalaureate
Our school has baccalaureate program, its mainly to reflect the unique cultural and philosophical values of Bhutan and provide students with a comprehensive education that prepares them for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
Library
Our library has a vast and various collections of books on different subjects and disciplines; novels, short stories ,science fictions, social work, philosophical ,self help books, biographies , history including government documents and other relevant and useful resources to support the academic programs. The school library persuades all staff and students to take the opportunity to make an best use of the facilities and services available in the library.
Special Needs Education(SEN)
Our school has special needs education program(SEN), refers to the provision of education tailored to meet the specific needs of students with disabilities, learning difficulties, or other special needs that require additional support. The aim of special needs education is to provide equal opportunities for all students to participate in education, regardless of their abilities.
Scouting
Scouting is a beautiful enriching programme. The young minds are driven towards becoming responsible person leading with the values guided by social oath and laws. According Lord Baden-Powell, "A week of camp life is worth six months of theoritical teaching in the meeting room." Generally, scouts are given opportunities such as hiking, which would make them love appreciate nature. Leadership trainings are given to acquire leadership qualities. Camping are held to learn skills and know the aims of Sustainable Development Goals. Scouting is fun with enrichment activities.
Swimming Pool
Having a school pool is like having a classroom precisely for aquatic education. It can help children get to learn water safety skills in a friendly environment. Moreover swimming pools are essential provision for exercises such as swimming laps and water aerobics.
Games
Game is the hangout activity where students get to take that much needed from academic session. Ultimately, all work and no play makes students uninterested boys and girls. School also render indoor game facilities such as Table Tennis, Badminton courts and other indoor sports. It provides a stadium for the students who wish to have learn and maintain their general health.
School Agriculture Program
SAP is one of the most important programs in the school. The activities under SAP include vegetable gardening, piggery, and mushroom cultivation. Every year SAP produces varieties of vegetables from the green house and from vegetable garden. Production of potatoes every year is quite a good amount and the product produced are given to students. At national level, the school ranked two times in winner position among the Lower Secondary Schools (2018 and 2019) and runners up position for two times before 2018. Also bagged first in the VeGOTS program.
